We watch E3 for the latest gaming news, but we forget about all the latest electronics coming out this year. Turtle Beach, will introduce a new gaming headset designed for the PlayStation 4 console. This headset will become available in stores in the Fall of 2014 and will sell for $300.
The new Ear Force Elite 800 brings many feature any gamer would want. For example, “the Elite 800 utilizes DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound and active noise cancellation to create an incredible, immersive audio experience. Both are firsts for console gaming headsets”. These features make the Elite 800 a high-end headset but that’s not all. The headset will also come with “modes” ranging from game, movie and music. The most exciting news from Turtle Beach is their new Elite Tournament Audio Controller. Turtle beach is ready to compete with Astro’s MixAmp. The mixamp will be compatible with Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC and Macs. No word on whether the Elite TAC will become compatible with the Xbox One. With the rise of eSports it’s no surprise Turtle Beach is ready to take a share of the market. The TAC has no price tag currently but we were informed it will become available this fall.
