E3 2014: Halo: The Master Chief Collection Announced

LogoThe time of switching between the first Xbox, Xbox 360 or Xbox One is now over! Rejoice Halo fans because today at E3, 343industries and Xbox announced Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The collection was rumored to come November of 2014 but also earlier this year a user on NeoGAF leaked internal information that stated Halo 2 Anniversary would be released this year.

The bundle will come with Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4.

Dan Ayoub (Executive Producer at 343i) said, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will “feature a single unified interface with all four games, everything unlocked on a single disk”. It was reviled that there will be a custom “Halo Cross-Game Playlist” that will take great moments from all four games and combining them together!

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will come with a lot of the following features:

  • Halo 2 Anniversary remaster maps

  • Halo 2 Multiplayer will “exactly like it shipped 10 years ago”

  • Halo 2 MP will feature Spartans vs Elites

  • Over 100 MP Maps

  • All running on original engines
