E3 2014: Everything the PC Gamer Needs to Know

Winding down on E3, we have so much information on PS4, Xbox One, and WiiU, but what information did we get for upcoming titles for the PC?

Before we get into our favorites upcoming titles, there was a huge number of titles that are coming to PC that received an announcement at the E3, we’re just going to go over a few that have been highly anticipated or that there hasn’t been a ton of information about until now.

Probably one of the anticipated games to finally make it to next gen consoles and PC is Grand Theft Auto: V. This game came out just before the release of the new consoles and many Rockstar fans have been begging for this next gen update. We’re also excited to get to access this new storyline and the immersive multiplayer on PC.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel:

This zany box of hilarity has been long anticipated after the disappointment of developer Gearbox saying that they have no plans to make a Borderlands 3. If you’ve played any other entry in this series, you’ll know why we’re so excited to see some gameplay footage. If you’re new to Borderlands, just watch this announce trailer and you’ll see what we mean:

Battlefield Hardline:

If you haven’t applied for this beta, get ready because once you see what all this game has to offer, you won’t be interested in any other shooters after watching the gameplay trailer. After a leaked trailer due to some premature announcement findings, this game has been hyped to the max.

(Watch all the way to the end, trust me, it’s worth it.) New game modes, evolving worlds with some massive scale destruction that developer DICE is known for and edge-of-your-seat gritty action that makes the Battlefield series great.

Dying Light:

This game looks sick. In some ways, literally. Brutal zombies with some impressively gruesome visuals get amazing hand-to-hand combat treatment as you parkour your way across an entirely open world Mirror’s Edge style with a dash of next gen fluidity.

All this not to mention a new Tomb Raider, two Tom Clancy games, The Witcher 3; which we covered earlier, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and a whole slew of other games. PC gaming just got a whole lot cooler.

I have a huge passion for games and the excitement of finding what heroes you like to play. I believe in everyone there's a little gamer that wants that adventure and interactivity, so I do what I can to connect people to that inner-hero.

Have your say!
