Space Hulk: Deathwing Trailer

Fan of the Warhammer 40k series, gear up! The new Space Hulk: Deathwing trailer has been dropped. Take a look for yourself.

Space Hulk: Deathwing is a first-person shooter where you get to play as a librarian. I get it, hold a sec, why a librarian? Weird title, I know, but bear with me ye of little tabletop experience. The Librarians are an oddly named squad of highly trained killers in the Space Marine faction; in this case taking on an alien faction known as the Genestealers.

The models in the game are crafted using the Warhammer 40k miniatures- produced by Games Workshop- as reference and are quite detailed. Fans of the tabletop game might even get some ideas from the game on paint or effect work for their own pieces by playing through the game.

The game features skill trees, powerful artifacts, and different equipment that can be obtained throughout the game to improve and customize your character as you mow down waves of hostile aliens in 40k’s grim-dark future of machines and mayhem.

Space Hulk: Deathwing is being developed by Streum On and published by Focus Home Interactive using the Unreal Engine 4 engine and seems to be coming along fairly well in its development. It will be released next year for the PS4.

As always, check back soon as APG covers more releases, trailers, leaks, and reviews! And feel free to comment below on the trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing.

Hello! I am an Editor around these parts! I am a graduate of St. Francis and a substitute teacher, but I love to spend time playing games, especially RPG's and tabletop games! Sometimes I even create my own, such as my upcoming "Level Burst" project. My favorite video game franchises are Super Smash Bros, Monster Hunter, and Pokemon. My favorite tabletop games are Pathfinder (or D&D 3.5) and Magic the Gathering.
