Magic the Gathering has officially released their new online game Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers. This set is to coincide with the new M15 base set for the physical and digital versions of the popular trading card game that releases on the 18th.
The Duels of the Planeswalkers series is an annually released series that focuses on casual and introductory gameplay using the rules and cards from the popular card game Magic: The Gathering. This new iteration allows players to build their own decks for the first time in the series and add to their own player collection.
The ability to build your own deck has been a requested feature since the first Duels of the Planeswalkers was released. Previously, players could unlock new preconstructed decks that, in turn, had unlockable cards that could be added later. However, the customization of these decks was very limited due to the restrictions present in the game.
The newest Duels of the Planeswalkers also has returning features from previous titles in the series such as an offline campaign, puzzle encounters, and online multiplayer.
Magic: 2015 Duels of the Planewalkers is available now on Steam, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and on the App Store for tablets. Watch the video below:
