Shadow of Mordor Season Pass Details

The dark side of the Lord of the Rings universe will soon come home in Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, and with it comes the announcement of a season pass for all of those wishing to experiencing everything the game has to offer. For those not familiar with the concept of a season pass, they pretty much work like this: you pay a certain sum upfront for the right to be able to download any DLC that may come out down the line for no add.YouTube-Preview-Shadow-of-Mordor

This particular season pass will give players access to a variety of additional content including new skins, powers, and missions sure to please when the game comes out later this year. For a closer look at everything you’ll get in this package, focus your eyeballs on the list below.

  • Exclusive ‘Guardians of the Flaming Eye’ Orc Warband mission: Fight against Sauron’s most elite warriors at the Blackgate for the right to use the Rising Flame Rune.

  • Early Access to Trials of War Challenge Series: Fight against evil and post your best score to the internet to compete with gamers across the globe.

  • New Story Mode Missions: Lord of the Hunt, in which you battle against some of Middle-Earth’s most fearsome beasts, and The Bright Lord, where you play as the legendary elven smith Celebrimbor and battle Sauron and his armies.

  • As previously mentioned, players will also have access to future DLC as well.

In Shadow of Mordor, you play as Talion, a ranger of Black Gate brought back from the dead as a spirit of vengeance. Now a vengeful wraith, Talion must seek to not only fulfill his own personal vendettas, as supported by the in-game Nemesis System which allows any enemy to become a potential target based on the player’s action, but also unravel the mystery behind the Rings of Power as well.
