The Witcher Arena Beta Sign-Up Begins

From the universe of the ever popular Witcher series of games (which continues later this year with The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt), comes a new MOBA game that developers promise will not feature any mandatory microtransactions!

In fact, you will actually be able to unlock every part of the game through hard work and effort, rewarding those who invest the extra time. That said, if you are interested in microtransactions, they are still available.

The game will also feature controls and mechanics specially crafted to work on mobile devices, making the Witcher Arena an experience ideal for gaming on the go as well. Those interested in the game can sign up for the closed beta now by following the link here.

“We are extremely passionate about games, whether they be for PC, console or mobile devices. The Witcher Battle Arena is our take on the MOBA genre and we are really excited at the prospect of sharing it with the gaming community! We highly value fans of The Witcher, and their opinions have always been paramount in helping us develop a great gaming experience–The Witcher Battle Arena is no exception! Sign up for the soon-to-commence closed beta now and, once you’ve had a chance to play around with it, share your thoughts – we’re really eager to hear what you have to say!” said Benjamin Lee, Producer of Mobile Games for Projeckt CD Red. “It doesn’t matter if you’re new to MOBA games or The Witcher universe, we’ve made a lot of effort to create a fun experience for everyone” he added.

Players who gain access to the beta will get the chance to test out eight different heroes and two different maps, the Arena and Korath Desert. In addition, their feedback will be invaluable in helping to test the game, and address any issues regarding netplay, game balance, and anything else that may arise over the course of the Beta.

Before we go, we’ve also got a brand new trailer for The Witcher Arena so go take a look at that, and make sure to follow us on Twitter at @APGNation!

My name is Nicole Seraphita and I’m 27. I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and have owned at least one system from each generation since then. My favorite type of games if most definitely RPGs, with my favorites being titles like Chrono Cross, Persona 4, and Tales of Xillia, though I also sometimes dabble in platforming games, fighting games, and visual novels. When I’m not writing for APGNation or playing games, I enjoy table top and card games, watch anime, and write fiction that I occasionally publish online. I tend to write a lot of Sci-fi and the occasional bit of fantasy, with the often overlooked sub-genre of Biopunk being my favorite. I’ve also written a few visual novels, though only one of them has made it all the way to completion thus far. My current dream is to be able to bring the Monster Girl genre to a western audience.

Have your say!
