Battle Realms Legends Now On Kickstarter!

We don’t talk about KickStarter campaigns here at APGNation all that often, but every once in awhile we felt it would be nice to spotlight all of the effort and talent that goes into some of these pitches. This week that honor goes to Battle Realms Legends, a CCG/Strategy game/RPG hybrid from the fine folk sat Liquid Entertainment.

Based on the Battle Realms universe first concocted over 12 years ago, Battle Realms Legends melds the lore of the original setting with an RPG experience as players choose a clan and a hero, including fan favorites culled from the original game, and play through the game’s expansive story. You’ll customize your hero, units, and other features of the game as you go through a unique campaign mode that offers strategic PvE gameplay that melds card games and strategy games in a unique way.

In addition, gamers looking for even more challenges will be able to find it in the online PvP where you can climb up the leader boards and earn rewards like cosmetic changes for your hero and PvE focused powers. Those looking for more can take a look at this video as one of the guys from Liquid Entertainment walks us through the details of Legends

Battle Realms Legends is currently in development and its Kickstarter, which can be found here, is currently live and seeking a $100,000 final goal. They currently have over 30% of their goal, so lets hope the folks at Liquid Entertainment can reach their goal and deliver another fun game for all their backers to play. My name is Nicole Seraphita and I’m 27. I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and have owned at least one system from each generation since then. My favorite type of games if most definitely RPGs, with my favorites being titles like Chrono Cross, Persona 4, and Tales of Xillia, though I also sometimes dabble in platforming games, fighting games, and visual novels. When I’m not writing for APGNation or playing games, I enjoy table top and card games, watch anime, and write fiction that I occasionally publish online. I tend to write a lot of Sci-fi and the occasional bit of fantasy, with the often overlooked sub-genre of Biopunk being my favorite. I’ve also written a few visual novels, though only one of them has made it all the way to completion thus far. My current dream is to be able to bring the Monster Girl genre to a western audience.

Have your say!
