An extended trailer of Dragon Ball Xenoverse XV shown at the Tokyo Game Show in late September revealed that some fan favorite characters of the series will return to the next Dragon Ball installment. Zenoverse XV, according to a tweet from Bandai Namco, stated that more characters will be reveled in the following months. Chracters Goku, Kid Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta are set to make their return.
Xenoverse will feature create your own player mode that will allow the player to play within the series existing game timeline. This feature will also allow the player to join the fight with the existing characters in the game. In addition to the “create your own player mode”, Xenoverse promises to deliver with its exciting 3 vs 3 match style, that will match the player’s unique character versus some the franchises most popular characters.
The trailer below shows a “Cooperative” mode where the player can face off on there own created character, a feature that has been kept in the dark for sometime by Bandai Namco. Unfortunately, other than the trailer, there were no immediate details on the new cooperative mode but fans expect this to be a hit.
Bandai also hopes to run a network test for the game, hoping PlayStation 3 owners will wake up early to enjoy some limited game play. Xenoverse is expected to be released in the spring of 2014.
