A Challenger Appears! Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel DLC Adds Fifth Character

The first DLC pack for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is adding a fifth playable character.  Rejoice as the Handsome Jack Doppelganger Pack introduces Jack the Doppelganger as another playable character to chose from.  My nephew, who is playing the game now as we speak, is very excited and cannot wait to play as Jack the Doppelganger.

The first add-on content pack is set to release on November 11th for Xbox 360, PS3, and Steam for just $9.99, however, if you are one of the many who purchased the season pass ($29.99) the Doppelganger Pack is included.

Handsome Jack’s clone is The Doppelganger class which has the ability to summon two Digi-Jacks to fight alongside you in the heat of battle.  The Digi-Jacks take damage until they die and then respawn near the player.  So, during battle you will always have yourself a couple of Mini-Mes to do your bidding during active combat.  Depending on how you approach your skill trees, the Digi-Jacks can earn bonuses and Second WInd in Fight For Your Life for the player.

Skill trees for Jack The Doppelganger. A lot of the talent names should be familiar to those who played Borderlands 2.

If you learn toward the left side of the skill tree, “Hero of this Story”, you can add buffs to grenades. The middle tree, “Greater Good”, will add buffs to the Fight for Your Life mode for you and your friends in co-op.  The skill tree on the far right, “The Free Enterprise”, emboldens Jack with buffs when he picks up money and receives upgrades for wielding specific brands of guns.  So choose your path wisely whether you want to be more co-op based or focus more on the loot and shoot aspect that Jack can bring to the table.

Tell us @APGNation if you’re excited about the new DLC Pack and if Jack and his two Mini-Mes! You can talk to me @elfizz or leave a comment for us down below!

Yo! My name is Mike Davies and I'm a 20-something who has been gaming since I could hold a NES ZAPPER and pull on a Power Glove. I just graduated from a CSU with a BA in English: Creative Writing. My passions are writing, entertaining, and video games. Which makes sense as why for a time I went into YouTube. I landed into the niche community of Pokemon and made lots of waves as a Wi-Fi battler under the name FizzyStardust. I don't do much on that channel anymore, but I do hope to expand in the future into more video gaming and entertainment avenues on YouTube. Some of my favorite games are the main Pokemon series (don't come at me with mystery dungeon), Fallout 3, WWF No Mercy, The Force Unleashed series, and the Madden franchise. Right now my interests lie in rekindling my love for the Pokemon TCG, Hearthstone and trying to learn how to play League of Legends.Star Wars, Buffy Summers, and video games are my true loves.

Have your say!
