Just Cause 3 Coming in 2015 on PC, XBox One, and PS4

Just Cause 3, the third entry of the highly regarded franchise known for crazy physics, open-world gameplay, and insanity stacked on insanity, will be coming to PC, Xbox One, and PS4 in 2015.

Game Informer revealed info via their December cover story that the sequel will take place in the Mediterranean region. There will also be “vastly improved parachute and grapple mechanics” with a heavy focus on mayhem and the ludicrous physics that the series is loved for, and a new wingsuit tossed in for good measure. So even more crazy is getting piled on top of the crazy.

There were hints dangled here and there for those paying attention to a potential third Just Cause game —from as far back as April, Avalanche Studios director Christofer Sundberg has made mention of a sandbox action game on his Linked-In account. Various teases have also been dished out via Twitter, including some screenshots that ultimately showed up in the Xbox forums and on NeoGaf. There is no for-sure word yet of a F2P option though it does appear this will be a full retail release per the Game Informer piece on the game. However, the screenshots leaked do hint at a possible micro-transaction system.
