Winter is Coming with the First Trailer for Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series

In the new Game of Thrones game series, you take on the roles of five different members of House Forrester, a clan who makes their home in an inhospitable place known as the Ironrath —a portion of the world perpetually cloaked in ice and snow. Through the eyes of these new characters, you will bear witness to the often convoluted political dealings that form the basis of the Game of Thrones’ universe. The game is developed by Telltale Games —the makers of the wildly successful Walking Dead game and the upcoming Tales from the Borderlands— and will give players a chance to experience Game of Thrones like never before, adding another perspective filled with unique characters and settings that will add to the existing level of complexity of a universe already fleshed with multi-dimensional characters and interesting locales. But enough talk— let’s take a look at the game’s first trailer and see what Telltale games has in store for us in the near future:

A release date for the game’s first episode “Iron from Ice” has yet to be determined, but rest assured that we at APGNation will let all of our loyal readers know when more information becomes available. Till then, make sure to follow us on Twitter @APGNation for the latest in gaming news and reviews.

My name is Nicole Seraphita and I’m 27. I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and have owned at least one system from each generation since then. My favorite type of games if most definitely RPGs, with my favorites being titles like Chrono Cross, Persona 4, and Tales of Xillia, though I also sometimes dabble in platforming games, fighting games, and visual novels. When I’m not writing for APGNation or playing games, I enjoy table top and card games, watch anime, and write fiction that I occasionally publish online. I tend to write a lot of Sci-fi and the occasional bit of fantasy, with the often overlooked sub-genre of Biopunk being my favorite. I’ve also written a few visual novels, though only one of them has made it all the way to completion thus far. My current dream is to be able to bring the Monster Girl genre to a western audience.

Have your say!
