Live Your Final Fantasy on a Budget with Square Enix’s Black Friday Sale

Square Enix is offering up to 60% off of some of their most popular games this Black Friday with an online sale of epic proportions. From tomorrow until Monday, December 1st, the sale will offer deep discounts on such titles as Final Fantasy 14, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and Drankengard along with other notable titles like Tomb Raider and the Thief series. If you are a fan of any of the games that Square Enix has to offer though there is no better time to pick up a game or two for yourself or a friend. These deals can be only be found in Square Enix’s online store.

As a disclaimer, the sale does not apply to preorders, CDs, and other related merchandise. But that shouldn’t stop you from taking a look anyhow if your a fan of JRPGS, strategy games, or simply feeling a bit nostalgic about the good old days — when Final Fantasy series ruled the RPG landscape and long hours of grinding for EXP and gold was still fresh to a generation of gamers. As for my own personal recommendation of the games on sale, I’d have to say that the remastered editions of Final Fantasy X and X-2 are among the most solid games put out by Square Enix as of late, and improve in every way upon the original with updated graphics, sound, and even new content culled from the international versions of the game formerly exclusive to Japan and Europe.

My name is Nicole Seraphita and I’m 27. I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and have owned at least one system from each generation since then. My favorite type of games if most definitely RPGs, with my favorites being titles like Chrono Cross, Persona 4, and Tales of Xillia, though I also sometimes dabble in platforming games, fighting games, and visual novels. When I’m not writing for APGNation or playing games, I enjoy table top and card games, watch anime, and write fiction that I occasionally publish online. I tend to write a lot of Sci-fi and the occasional bit of fantasy, with the often overlooked sub-genre of Biopunk being my favorite. I’ve also written a few visual novels, though only one of them has made it all the way to completion thus far. My current dream is to be able to bring the Monster Girl genre to a western audience.

Have your say!
