Borderlands Remastered Edition Rated in Australia

The fine folks at NeoGAF and noted Xbox release detective, lifelower, have unearthed an Australian ratings board posting for Borderlands Remastered Edition. It is multi-platform, thus pointing to a potential port of perhaps Borderlands and maybe even Borderlands 2 to the Xbox One and PS4.

So, the question everyone has to be asking, aside from whether we needed a remastered Borderlands or not, is what this will include? 2K Australia looks to be taking care of the remaster duties after their work with The Pre-Sequel. The hope? Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel with the DLC in one package. Gearbox originally mentioned that the reasoning for putting out TPS on last-gen hardware was due to the lower install-base of the newer generation hardware.  We can’t really classify this as a rumor as the ratings board has actually listed it on their site. APGNation has reached out to 2K Games/Gearbox Software, though, in hopes of getting further confirmation. This post will be updated accordingly.

So, Nation, what do you think? Do you want Borderlands, even if it might be the older games, on this current generation? Sick of remastered titles? Wanna fight about it? Let us know in the comments below. Be sure to follow @APGNation on Twitter for more gaming news and reviews!
