Elite: Dangerous Comes to Xbox One in 2015

Ahead of this weekend’s Game Developer Conference, Frontier Developments has announced that they will be porting their popular massively multiplayer space game Elite: Dangerous to the Xbox One sometime in 2015. According to Frontier, the Xbox version of Elite: Dangerous will feature all of the content added to the PC version during both the February Community Goals content update and the March Wings update, which goes live in the PC version of the game next week.

Release in December for PC after being funded via a Kickstarter campaign  in 2013, Elite: Dangerous is the sequel to the classic 1984 space exploration game, Elite. In Elite: Dangerous  players star with little more than a small starship and a fistful of credits as they seek their fortune in the great sea of space. You are not alone in the cosmos, however. As thousands of other space faring fortune seekers played by live players will all also be vying for the much coveted title of “Elite.”

My name is Nicole Seraphita and I’m 27. I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and have owned at least one system from each generation since then. My favorite type of games if most definitely RPGs, with my favorites being titles like Chrono Cross, Persona 4, and Tales of Xillia, though I also sometimes dabble in platforming games, fighting games, and visual novels. When I’m not writing for APGNation or playing games, I enjoy table top and card games, watch anime, and write fiction that I occasionally publish online. I tend to write a lot of Sci-fi and the occasional bit of fantasy, with the often overlooked sub-genre of Biopunk being my favorite. I’ve also written a few visual novels, though only one of them has made it all the way to completion thus far. My current dream is to be able to bring the Monster Girl genre to a western audience.

Have your say!
