Ubisoft Announces Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate

Ubisoft announced via YouTube live-stream today the newest planned addition to the Assassin’s Creed title for the franchise. The working title Assassin’s Creed Victory is now officially announced with the actual title of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The upcoming title continues the slow march through iconic history, this time taking place in London during the industrial revolution in 1868. Ubisoft had more details on their official website:

In Assassin’s Creed Syndicate you’ll play as Jacob Frye, an assassin born and bred poised to take over the criminal underworld of London during the Industrial Revolution. Amidst blossoming conflicts between newly crowned kings of industry and the working class they exploit for all they’re worth, Jacob will work in the shadows as he climbs to the top of the criminal underground as the head of one of the city’s most notorious street gangs.

Ubisoft also published a recording of the announcement event that you can watch below:

Gameplay trailers and more information are available on the official Ubisoft website for those hardcore Assassin’s Creed fans to enjoy. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate has a current release date of October 23rd  for Xbox One and PS4, and Fall 2015 on PC.
