Bethesda Hints at Possible Fallout 4

This morning the official Bethesda Twitter account linked to a countdown page that strongly hints of an announcement related to the prolific Fallout series.  The page features a background image typical of that of the Fallout series as well as a countdown timer set to end at 10 AM Eastern Standard Time tomorrow. With the E3 Expo mere weeks away it’s a pretty popular guess that the countdown may be referring to the announcement of Fallout 4.

Fallout: New Vegas, the latest Fallout title released in 2010

The Fallout series takes place in a post-apocalyptic American setting, where the populace of the United States managed to survive by taking shelter in massive underground bomb shelters called Vaults. Players take on the role of a character who explores the wasteland where monsters, mutants, and various groups all struggle to survive. The previous title in the series Fallout: New Vegas was released in 2010 making the announcement of an official sequel to the popular title a long time coming.

So what do you think? Is it Fallout 4 or is Bethesda pulling a bait and switch? What would you want to see in a Fallout sequel? Let us know in the comments below!
