Capcom has announced that Mega Man Legacy Collection is releasing August 25th in both North America and Europe, available for $14.99 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. There is no solid release date for the Nintendo 3DS iteration yet, but Capcom said it will be coming early 2016. Legacy Edition will feature all six of the original 8-bit classics, as well as a selection of concept and production art, a database filled with enemy information, a new challenge mode filled with remixed levels and a music player featuring soundtracks from the Mega Man series.

This seems like an absolute must for any Mega Man fan, especially with the addition of the challenge mode that will give even the most hardened Mega Man fan something new to play with. With all the coverage over Red Ash not meeting its Kickstarter goal and Mighty No. 9 being delayed, we may just see the collection finding a new crowd of fans.
