The Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Beta begins today exclusively on PS4, with other consoles to follow. Those who have pre-ordered the title will be able to download the beta. The download clocks in at around 12 gigabytes, so don’t expect to be playing instantly. It is once again Treyarch’s turn this year, and they have built upon Advanced Warfare by upgrading the manoeuvrability of the player. A whole new chain system has been introduced in which the player can chain together various aerial moves. There is also a selection of specialisations, these act like classes in which you have special abilities and weapons. Think Destiny’s class systems with Call Of Duty weapons.
You can pre-order Black Ops 3 from all good online retailers as well as through your console’s online store. I have already spent a little time with the beta and will be giving my thoughts on it over the weekend. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 releases on November 6th worldwide. The beta begins today and lasts until this Sunday. There is no word on the beta dates for other consoles, but I imagine we will hear something soon.
P.S Treyarch have brought back the gore, which we haven’t seen since World At War. You just can’t beat blowing someone’s legs off with a shotgun 😉
