Resident Evil Origins Collection To Feature New Wesker Mode

Next January you’ll be able to start the new year off to a creepy start with the Resident Evil Origins Collection, arriving in stores on 1/19/16. Consisting of the newly re-mastered version of Resident Evil Zero and the acclaimed HD port of the original Resident Evil, the collection will retail for $39.99 for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Those who already own Resident Evil in some form will also be able to snag Zero as a stand-alone downloadable game for $19.99.

Even those who have played Resident Evil Zero in the past will have something new to look forward to as you’ll be able to experience the events of the game through the eyes of Albert Wesker in an alternate take on Zero. This mode will boast not only the ability to play as Wesker himself, who comes outfitted with a bevy of new abilities to tackle the undead hordes that await you in-game, but also features new costumes and other content unique to the Origins Collection version of the game as well.

My name is Nicole Seraphita and I’m 27. I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and have owned at least one system from each generation since then. My favorite type of games if most definitely RPGs, with my favorites being titles like Chrono Cross, Persona 4, and Tales of Xillia, though I also sometimes dabble in platforming games, fighting games, and visual novels. When I’m not writing for APGNation or playing games, I enjoy table top and card games, watch anime, and write fiction that I occasionally publish online. I tend to write a lot of Sci-fi and the occasional bit of fantasy, with the often overlooked sub-genre of Biopunk being my favorite. I’ve also written a few visual novels, though only one of them has made it all the way to completion thus far. My current dream is to be able to bring the Monster Girl genre to a western audience.

Have your say!
