Atlus Announces Shin Megami Tensei 4: Final

In a move that will likely soothe the hearts of SMT fans still reeling from Persona 5’s delay. Atlus today announced that Shin Megami Tensei 4: Final, a game directly related to the 2013 3DS RPG Shin Megami Tensei 4,  will hit Japanese stores on February 10th. The reveal came via a rather cryptic message on the game’s official site which boasted that a “disaster” would occur once a message from Atlus was retweeted 15,000 times.

After the threshold was passed information concerning the game was revealed to the public for the first time alongside several pieces of key artwork.

Though it is unknown as of writing, just how Final connects to the original SMT 4, fans can expect the same tough as nails difficulty, demon raising, and macabre storytelling that the series has been known for since the mid 1980s.

My name is Nicole Seraphita and I’m 27. I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and have owned at least one system from each generation since then. My favorite type of games if most definitely RPGs, with my favorites being titles like Chrono Cross, Persona 4, and Tales of Xillia, though I also sometimes dabble in platforming games, fighting games, and visual novels. When I’m not writing for APGNation or playing games, I enjoy table top and card games, watch anime, and write fiction that I occasionally publish online. I tend to write a lot of Sci-fi and the occasional bit of fantasy, with the often overlooked sub-genre of Biopunk being my favorite. I’ve also written a few visual novels, though only one of them has made it all the way to completion thus far. My current dream is to be able to bring the Monster Girl genre to a western audience.

Have your say!
