Halo 5 is Out Now, Go Pick Up Your Pre-Order at GameStop

For those who are crazy enough about Halo, GameStop is selling the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Collector’s Edition which will cost you a whopping $249.99. The one major upside to this bundle is that you can pick up the bundle today, but only if you pre-ordered through GameStop. The bundle nabs you some sweet collector toys, a steelbook and a digital download for Halo 5: Guardians as well as a whole host of stuff. If you aren’t that bothered about playing it at midnight on the 27th of October, then you can trade your digital code for the real disk version, those things that are round and shiny on one side. Open up your Halo Limited Collector’s Edition bundle, take out the Digital Game Download card and mail it out! You should receive a physical copy of the game on the 27th of October, via postal mail.

Halo 5: Guardians is the first entry for the series during the current generation of hardware, 343 Industries are boasting better visuals and game play compared to past iterations through the power of Cloud Computing on the Xbox one. As one of Microsofts biggest IP’s, they are likely betting on Halo shifting a record number of Xbox One’s, especially as Sony are lacking any big titles this coming holiday season. Regardless of this, Halo 5 is likely to be the biggest game coming out this holiday season unless you count Fallout 4 of course.
