The original Deus Ex for me has always been a beloved craving. Nearly every year or so I am reminded of the classic FPS RPG title and I must reinstall and give it a play-through less the itch for the game scratch at me. Like a comfortable old pair of shoes I install the 2000 classic and arrive on Liberty Island and I’m home. This morning began the long-awaited event of SPJAirplay, two-panel discussions focusing on the topics related to the Gamergate hashtag controversy and movement. The morning panel discussion focused on the definition of Gamergate and then proceeded to explore examples of gaming journalism that supporters of Gamergate had ethical issues. The panel consisted of Ashe Schow, Allum Bokari, Mark Ceb, Derek Smart, Lynn Walsh, and Ren LaForme.

APGNation’s Garrett Bridges had a chance to sit down with Daniel Vávra, co-founder of Warhorse Studios, to talk about and play some of their upcoming game Kingdom Come: Deliverance at E3.
Vávra gave us the inside scoop, talking about how massive his studio plans for the in-game world to be, with the current Alpha taking over five hours to complete. During the PC conference at E3 just moments ago, a brand new expansion pack to the recently released RPG, Pillars of Eternity, titled The White March. A short teaser for the story was presented with a short Q&A by the developer. The developer stated that they plan to create content in the expansion to rival the size of the base game, which is great news for those that fell in love with the original title.

During Nintendo’s E3 conference just moments ago, the newest in the Legend of Zelda series was announced. Legend of Zelda Triforce Heroes is the latest in the iconic action-adventure puzzle series. Gameplay this time around is centered on team play of 3 players, in order to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. To help players in these objectives, link uses an outfit system, with each outfit granting different powers. A short presentation after the preview with the developer spoke about how Nintendo hoped to inspire teamwork with gamers within the game, to overcome challenges using a totem theme.

During the Microsoft E3 conference just moments ago, Crystal Dynamics showed off new gameplay from the upcoming title, Rise of the Tomb Raider. The new gameplay trailer showed Lara exploring a snowy mountaintop during a chaotic blizzard. It appears as though the exciting running, climbing, and quicktime events make a return. While combat gameplay was not shown off, a quick look at some combat and puzzles was shown as well.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is set for release November 10th, 2015.

On a recent episode of the American reality television show Keeping up with the Kardashians, the track “Dust” by M|O|O|N can be heard playing during a portion of the show. M|O|O|N is one of the many artists who provided music (including “Dust”) for the popular game Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami: Wrong Number. Reddit user megadog14 on the PC Master Race and Hotline Miami subreddits provided links for comparison.
