Persona is a series that manages to garner mainstream attention considering the niche status of JRPGs in general. The strength of storytelling, solid gameplay, organic character development, superlative art direction and fantastic music all add up to a series, iteration after iteration, that delivers the goods. Success leads to a desire for more of the same and, instead of yet another numbered Persona release, spin-offs spring forth from the mighty one’s dome like [...]
The release of Persona 4: Dancing All Night is creeping ever closer but before it stores this fall — we’ve got another batch of trailers for you guys featuring more of the game’s lovely cast of characters. This time around we’ve got you all access passes to both Kanami, an up and coming idol previously only mentioned in Persona 4 proper, and Teddie, the series slightly annoying mascot and perpetual engine of horrible bear-related puns. Both of these two will strut their stuff on stage, so take a look below for some highlights of what to expect from the both of them come this fall, starting with Kanami and her food-themed idol routine.
Next up is Teddie — who [...]
We already know quite a bit about the Persona 4: Dancing all Night’s premise and characters. But today we’re serving up some brand new info in the form of the modes of play that will keep you up all night come this fall.
First up we have Story Mode. Here players will tackle another mystery in the sleepy town of Inaba, as the mysterious Midnight Stage makes an appearance and players must dance against deadly shadows to uncover the truth. This particular story takes place six months after the event of Persona 4, and prominently features Rise and the idol group Kanamin Kitchen, headed by Kanami Mashita, who appears in full for the first time here in [...]

Not too long ago, Feminist Frequency creator Anita Sarkeesian tweeted a picture of this year’s E3 badge that features the likeness of Persona 4′s Rise Kujikawa. Ms. Sarkeesian was rather critical of Rise’s new garb for her appearance in the upcoming Persona 4: Dancing All Night and found it a shame that her image was plastered across every E3 convention goers’ badge. While Anita is more than welcome to her opinion, I personally believe that her tweet is nevertheless slightly misguided.
For those not [...]
