Heroes Fight to Save the Future in New Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse Trailer

After last year’s release Battle of Z, fans of the Dragon Ball universe have been clamoring for something new and different with the beloved Shonen series’ long and varied story. And now their calls may have been answered: Dragon Ball Xenoverse features a brand new storyline where players must create a hero of their very own to defeat a pair of time bandits named Towa and Mira who have been marauding across the DBZ timeline, altering history and reviving some of the world’s strongest villains as they go. To see more of this trip through history, take a gander at the brand new trailer below, where you can see the game’s new plot.

In addition to a brand new storyline, Xenoverse also boasts over 70 playable characters, including several new to the series, a custom character mode where players can create their own hero from a choice of five different races: human, Saiyan, Namekian, Majin, and Freeza’s unnamed race to fight against villainy and save the future, and more!

You’ll be able to jump into the fray yourself on February 13th on home consoles, and February 17th on Steam, when Dragon Ball Xenoverse finally comes home. You can also find us on Twitter @APGNation, in this and any other timeline.

My name is Nicole Seraphita and I’m 27. I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and have owned at least one system from each generation since then. My favorite type of games if most definitely RPGs, with my favorites being titles like Chrono Cross, Persona 4, and Tales of Xillia, though I also sometimes dabble in platforming games, fighting games, and visual novels. When I’m not writing for APGNation or playing games, I enjoy table top and card games, watch anime, and write fiction that I occasionally publish online. I tend to write a lot of Sci-fi and the occasional bit of fantasy, with the often overlooked sub-genre of Biopunk being my favorite. I’ve also written a few visual novels, though only one of them has made it all the way to completion thus far. My current dream is to be able to bring the Monster Girl genre to a western audience.

Have your say!
