The Witcher 3’s Developers Talk Monsters In New Video

In a new video released today, the developers at CD Projekt Red give us a behind the scenes look at all of the fearsome beasts and terrible monsters that players will encounter when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt comes out later this month. For more, just fix your eyes a bit lower and watch this new trailer. The Witcher‘s developer discusses their goals when creating new monsters. How to be the best monster hunter possible, and even a few tips on how to defeat the various abominations that fill the world at large.

“In order to become the best monster hunter, you must first learn how to understand your foes..Books and hearsay usually give you the information you need: Where they can be found, their attack patterns, and what they fear. And it is your job to figure out the best way to kill them,” explains Senior Gameplay Designer Damien Monnier. We’re only two weeks away from finding out just how much Geralt will need to learn to ply his craft. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt arrives on home consoles and PC on May 19th. Two DLC packs, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, are expected to arrive in October 2015 and early 2016 respectively. The game will also be the first AAA title released on’s Galaxy digital delivery platform
