Quan Chi Joins the Cast of Mortal Kombat X

Some years after first appearing in Mortal Kombat 4, the villainous Qaun Chi returns to the Mortal Kombat universe in the latest iteration of the long running fighting game franchise, MK10. A powerful sorcerer, Quan Chi joins the fray with two different modes of attack, Warlock, in which he is capable of opening portals to the dark realm, and Summoner, in which he calls forth evil beasts to fight for him. You’ll be able to learn more about Qaun Chi, and Mortal Kombat 10 in general, in this new trailer narrated by Shaun Himmerick, executive producer at NetherRealm Studios.

Quan Chi joins an already impressive cast of both newcomers and popular Mortal Kombat veterans, such as Raiden, Goro, and Sub Zero. Mortal Kombat X looks to be an impressive celebration of the long running series’ storied history, with characters both new and old joining together in a brand new plot sure to impress even the most oldschool fans of the MK universe.

You’ll be able to join the Kombat once more when the game comes out for most major consoles and PC April 14th of 2015. And for more on your favorite games and up-to-the-minute news make sure to follow us on Twitter @APGNation. You can also find me on Twitter @fluffyharpy.

My name is Nicole Seraphita and I’m 27. I’ve been gaming since the days of the NES and have owned at least one system from each generation since then. My favorite type of games if most definitely RPGs, with my favorites being titles like Chrono Cross, Persona 4, and Tales of Xillia, though I also sometimes dabble in platforming games, fighting games, and visual novels. When I’m not writing for APGNation or playing games, I enjoy table top and card games, watch anime, and write fiction that I occasionally publish online. I tend to write a lot of Sci-fi and the occasional bit of fantasy, with the often overlooked sub-genre of Biopunk being my favorite. I’ve also written a few visual novels, though only one of them has made it all the way to completion thus far. My current dream is to be able to bring the Monster Girl genre to a western audience.

Have your say!
